Self Examination

Memory is imperfect and our brains are agile, enabling us to alter motives in hindsight. It is easy to end up so far down a rabbit hole of our own making that we have a grandiose self image and no idea who, or why we are.
Stripping this nonsensical jumble away is uncomfortable, but achievable with one question: “What do I spend my time doing?”. What you spend the most time doing is your highest priority and on down from there.

Do not jump immediately into the nuance of motive and get lost. Start as close as you can to the concrete event(s) and do not look away. It is impossible to act consciously if you do not let yourself see clearly.
