I have noticed a theme of sustainability being linked to the good in what I have been thinking and writing recently. This is reminiscent of an idea at the center of Buddhism, that life is suffering because it is impermanent. In a world where everything is impermanent nothing can be sustainable. Stasis is not achievable in the existence we know, not that I am sure I would want it to be.

More interestingly sustainability is currently a key initiative. How do we reapproach the problems we are trying to solve with sustainability if sustainability is impossible?
